Why we co-founded the new Evidence in Education Group
Jan 22, 2020
The EEG brings together leading UK EdTech companies who share a belief that there needs to be a step-change in the level of evidence available about EdTech.
The EEG believes schools and trusts need to be able to easily assess the value and impact of EdTech products, services and platforms.
We're proud to have been asked to be one of the founding members of the EEG.
Here at Learning Ladders we believe schools have a right to expect EdTech providers to be clear, transparent and honest when explaining to schools what their products can (and cannot) do to support schools.
In short too many schools are falling victim to snake oil salesmen, who promise a magic bullet but then fail to deliver, and this serves nobody well.
More on this to follow after the launch at BETT 2020. You can keep up to date with the latest via Twitter using #edtechevidence.
